Law is a powerful tool, only if it’s learnt well. In rural areas mostly the women and adolescent girls are subjected to some form of discrimination. This discrimination often hinders the socio-economic growth of women and adolescent girls. Also the lack of legal awareness restricts their mobility in making appropriate decisions both at the household and community level. Thus there is an emergent need for generating awareness on legal rights especially of women’s rights.

UKSVK is organising and conducting training programs for women’s and adolescent girls’ groups to ensure that they stand against any form of discrimination.
